ClipEZ is operated by Oleksandr Pavlovych, Pitterova 2855/11, 130 00 Prague 3, Czech Republic. Most of what ClipEZ does happens on your own computer, but you can also upload a stream to our servers for cloud playback and share clips cut from it. This page explains how to report content stored with us that infringes your copyright, and what happens next.
Reporting infringing content
Send your notice to copyright@clipez.app. So we can act on it, please include:
- The work you say is infringed, and enough detail to identify it.
- A link to the ClipEZ content you are reporting, precise enough for us to find it.
- Your name, address, and an email address we can reply to.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
Notices that leave out enough of this that we cannot identify the work or the content will be sent back rather than acted on.
What we do
We review every notice we can act on and, where it is justified, remove or disable access to the reported content without undue delay. We tell the account holder what was removed and why, and give them the reason for our decision. Deliberately false notices can make you liable for the resulting damage, so please be sure before you send one.
If we removed your content
Reply to copyright@clipez.app explaining why you believe the removal was wrong — for example because you hold the rights, have a licence, or the use is permitted by law. If your objection holds up we restore the content. You can also take the dispute to a court or to an out-of-court dispute settlement body; nothing here limits that.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content will be suspended or closed. We also suspend accounts that repeatedly send notices that are clearly unfounded.
Content on your own computer
Projects, videos, and exports that never left your machine are not stored by us and we cannot remove them. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you import, including anything you download from Twitch, YouTube, or Kick.
